The linen we use for our linen is very light, it has undergone a specific
washing and drying process during manufacturing to make it softer
to the touch.
The appearance is relaxed wrinkling, to allow easy maintenance.
Let's talk a little about the flax fiber
It comes from a plant (linum usitatissimum) with a very rapid growth, not
it requires irrigation to grow (rains are sufficient), does not require pesticides or exfoliants and grows with a low amount of fertilizer.
No part of the flax plant is thrown away, the fiber is used in clothing and furnishings, the seeds are used to produce oil, the by-products of the plant are used to obtain paper and compost for the land.
It is 100% biodegradable and due to the way it is grown it is considered one of the most sustainable fibers in nature.
The flax fiber is hollow, absorbs up to 20% of humidity, without weakening: for this reason it always gives a feeling of freshness on the skin, regulates body temperature, and therefore allows for excellent sleep.
Being an antistatic fiber, it does not retain the electric charges accumulated on its surface.
Linen is hypoallergenic and antibacterial, perfect for those with allergies or skin problems.
It doesn't fear repeated washing and it doesn't fear the passing years, they are proof of that
bandages found around Egyptian mummies dating back about 5,000 years.
