Manutenzione

Read the composition and care labels first

All Nora V. home linens come with a composition and care label.

The composition indicates what fiber the product is made of, while the care label indicates how wash it to make it last well and longer.

There are 5 maintenance symbols.

1- the tray symbol indicates wet washing, i.e. in water. If it is crossed out, it cannot be washed in water - otherwise you will find an indication of the temperature (30, 40, 60 degrees etc.)  When there is an hand symbol, the product can only be washed by hand ONLY, and therefore at a maximum temperature of about 30 degrees

Lavaggio in acqua

2- the triangle symbol indicates bleaching; this is usually crossed out, because most fabric dyes are NOT resistant to chlorine (in fact, when used, it causes discolouration). Chlorine can only be used on fabrics treated with special dyes, as in items for hotels or medical use.

Candeggio

3- the circle symbol indicates dry cleaning only: but when is crossed out, dry cleaning is not permitted. Otherwise, inside the circle you might see the letters A, P or F: depending on the letter, dry cleaners will use different solvents and/or add water in the wash.

Lavaggio a secco

4- the iron symbol indicates the temperatures at which to iron the textile:

     1 dot - temperature of about 110°C,

     2 dots - temperature of 150°C,

     3 dots - temperature of about 200°C

If the symbol is crossed out, do not to use the iron at all.

Stiratura

5 - the square symbol concerns drying.

A circle inserted in the square indicates that that particular item can be dried without problems in the dryer: a dot indicates drying with a delicate program; two dots mean normal drying.

If this square is crossed out, the textile should only be air dried naturally.
