DEMETRA/FORTUNA - Tablecloth in pure washed linen finished with a large ruffle
Demetra and Fortuna are two solid-color tablecloths finished with a large flounce. Demetra features a matching corded flounce, while Fortuna has a fringed flounce. They are made of pure, piece-washed linen; the material is rendered soft, worn, and comfortable by a washing process that eliminates the fiber's natural stiffness. Our creations are entirely made in Italy and are produced for the customer upon order, which is why they typically ship within 10-15 business days. The color palette allows customers to play around and create different styles to suit any home. We invite you to pair your chosen tablecloth with accessories (runners, placemats, napkins, and bread baskets) in different colors to always have a different table setting!

care label
It is machine washable at 40° (do not overdo the load to prevent creases that are difficult to remove). More resistant stains can be washed at 60°, pre-treating them. It can be air dried or tumble dried, we recommend not drying completely to avoid any more resistant creases. We also recommend maintaining the original, soft wrinkled look and therefore not ironing. sustainability
Linen is a natural fiber considered one of the most sustainable fibers in nature.
It comes from a plant with very rapid growth, it does not require irrigation to grow (rain is sufficient),
it does not require pesticides or exfoliants and grows with a low amount of fertiliser.
No part of the flax plant is thrown away, the fiber is used in clothing and furnishings, the seeds to produce oil, the by-products of the plant are used to obtain paper, the dust and residues are used productively in compost for the land.
It doesn't fear washing and it doesn't fear the years, as evidenced by the bandages found around the Egyptian mummies dating back to about 5,000 years ago.
It is 100% biodegradable
